From Vancouver, Alexandra Smart (Lexy) is a digital designer finishing her studies in business, media and psychology at the University of British Columbia.
Her explorations in human cognition, media theory, and technical innovation have fostered opportunities such as collaborating as a UX designer on a post-secondary research engine at UBC's Emerging Media Lab, as well as digital marketing and creative problem solving for organizations such as UX Hub and MSSA. Paired with her business knowledge, Lexy carries a holistic view of product and brand strategy.
Guided by her passion for storytelling and curiosity, her work focuses on systems, human computer interaction, and creative strategy.

Since I was young, I've loved stories. That is part of what drew me to study media at UBC,
the myriad of ways in which you communicate something meaningful. As I get older,
I'm slowly listening more and more to my younger self: writing, reading, taking photos,
and trying to document as much as possible how beautiful life is.
